Stocking up

Today I have been working on getting restocked for my upcoming events. I made a new batch of lemongrass poppy, which made my house smell wonderful! I also made an oatmeal batch, for those with sensitive skin. My third batch was cinnamon clove. Clove bud essential oil is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It smells so good and it keeps its scent so well in the soap. I colored it naturally, which was very exciting to me because I like to keep things as natural as possible. I will post a picture of how it came out. It got a pretty good review at the market, so that made me feel good. I'm also excited about the soapsicles that my sister and I made. I love the fact that I have something for everyone at my booth- the kids were wild over them. I will try to get a picture up of those, too. For the next few days I will be concentrating on building my stock so we will have a good showing for our big day Saturday!

The soapcicles are adorable!! I know my girls will love them. I'm glad you made more oatmeal bars because I need to stock up on those!

Your soap looks great. I especially like the Clove soap. It almost looks like hot process with the texture and color veins you have in there. =)

With the cold weather having hit Georgia (of course to me cold is anything below 60) I have to let you know something about your oatmeal soap. I finally was able to get it back from my husband (we share it now) and have been using it everyday. About this time of year (once we turn the heat on) my legs start getting really dry and scaly looking. That is not the case this year and I'm convinced that it is because of the oatmeal soap that you made. I need more!!

Hi Ginnie, I have 2 new batches of oatmeal soap so just let me know when you need some. I can mail it or send it through Jamie. I'm glad you like my soapsicles, they seem to be popular with the kids.

Hi Anne-Marie, thanks for taking the time to look at my blog. My clove soap is hot processed, as well as many others that I make. I enjoy doing both, what is your preference? I love cold process because of the beautiful marbling that can be done. Any tips on marbling? I'm still trying to perfect mine!
